Hi, we’re Alex and Hasna, the founders of MeisterCRM 👋

We created MeisterCRM after seeing firsthand how much time tour operators lose managing enquiries, pricing, itineraries and bookings across spreadsheets, PDFs and disconnected tools.

Alex brings 15 years of software engineering experience, while Hasna has spent five years designing and selling tailor-made trips. Having travelled extensively across East Africa and called Zanzibar home for much of that time, we understand how tourism businesses in the region really operate.

MeisterCRM brings our two worlds together: powerful technology shaped by genuine travel-industry experience. We build it with care alongside real tour operators, turning everyday challenges and continuous feedback into practical tools that make work simpler, faster and more professional.

The platform is always evolving, but our purpose remains the same: to give travel professionals the tools to create remarkable journeys and grow their businesses.

The Meister story

How MeisterCRM came to life

The milestones, customer conversations and practical work that shaped MeisterCRM.

Building dependable service — and reaching stability

We focused on rigorous system testing, monitoring and support infrastructure, creating a reliable way to deliver updates while keeping MeisterCRM stable for its users. This work culminated at the end of August: after a long pilot programme, round-the-clock issue fixing and the support of our first users, every current user ran for more than four weeks without an issue.

More control, connection and reach

MeisterCRM became more capable for growing teams, with stronger permissions, a wider language offering and more connected day-to-day workflows.

Key improvements

  • Role-based access control.
  • More than 40 languages and AI translation features.
  • Expanded accounting capabilities alongside email and WhatsApp integration.

Our first customer — and a local team

We welcomed our first user and established a small team in Arusha to support our growing community of Tanzanian clients.

MeisterCRM launches to the world

A defining month: MeisterCRM.com went live, the first production release launched, and our pilot programme began.

In the field

  • We showcased MeisterCRM to real users for the first time at Spotlight 2026, a travel exhibition in Arusha.

Kenya inspires a new proposal experience

Our conversations in Kenya brought more valuable feedback. We rebuilt the proposal system around flexible themes, custom colours and stronger brand expression.

Arusha feedback reshapes pricing

We travelled to Arusha, met local tour operators face-to-face and listened closely to how pricing works in the real world. Their feedback sent us back to the drawing board.

A more flexible pricing model

  • Custom margins for the way each business prices and sells.
  • Pricing by passenger count and group size.
  • Distinct adult, child and baby pricing.

The first customer proposal goes live

Our first customer-facing proposal experience went live — an important step from a promising product to something real travellers could see.

Catalog and quotations come together

The catalog and quotation system was built, giving teams a structured way to bring their rates, services and proposals together.

The itinerary foundation takes shape

We turned those early sketches into working timeline logic and itinerary building — the foundation for creating journeys in Meister.

The first Meister sketches

The first ideas for Meister took shape: a clearer, more connected way for travel teams to build and manage exceptional journeys.
